China: 5.8% Of Migrant Workers Suffer Wage Arrears
March 31st, 2009A report from the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics reveals that by the end of 2008, there was a total of 225.42 million migrant workers in China, and about 5.8% of these had been affected by wage arrears.

Cash Income Grows For Chinese Farmers
May 6th, 2008The National Bureau of Statistics of China says a nationwide sampling survey on 68000 rural households in 31 provinces of China indicated that per capita cash income of farmers reached RMB1,494 in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%.
