The British Charity Ball 2009 saw a host of Glam Rock-loving guests celebrate a night with Glam Rock music, a complimentary bar and a four-course dinner with Beef Wellington. UNICEF has formally released an anniversary report on the aid it has offered to the earthquake devastated area in China over the past year.

The United Nations Children's Fund and its donors went to Caoyang Primary School in Xihe County, Gansu, and attended a ceremony held to welcome children back from the recent Chinese New Year holidays and celebrate the post-earthquake restoration of quality education.
