Shenyang Renewable Energy Eco-Industrial Park Will Open In June

Shenyang Zhonghong Renewable Energy Eco-industrial Park which occupies three square kilometers and involves CNY5 billion in investment has seen the completion of the first schedule of its construction and will be formally opened to the public later in June.

Planned by Tsinghua University's Eco-industrial Research Center, SZREEP is one of the second batch of recycle economy demonstration parks approved by the Chinese government. The first schedule of the project can host 32 manufacturing enterprises and 20 service-oriented companies, with an annual dismantling and processing capacity of one million tons. It can also provide 10,000 job opportunities and the annual sales volume is expected to be over CNY7 billion.

The construction of the whole park is expected to be completed in four years and the total annual sales expected to reach CNY50 billion.
