The Chinese Federation For Corporate Social Responsibility and China's Ping An Insurance have released the first corporate citizenship report detailing events surrounding the recent Wenchuan earthquake, making it also the fifth report Ping An of China has released.

The report is named "Sustainable Increase: 20th Anniversary Corporate Citizenship & Corporate Citizenship Report of Ping An Of China". It is designed and organized per the sustainability reporting guidelines issued by Global Reporting Initiative. Ping An says it also invited Chinese public welfare organizations such as China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and China Youth Development Foundation to evaluate the report.

According to the report, Ping An Property and Casualty Insurance, Ping An Life Insurance and Ping An Annuity Insurance started disaster contingency plans only two hours after the May 12 earthquake. Apart from CNY80 million in donations from the company and its employees, Ping An has also launched many plans to support the reconstruction work around the quake area, including organizing non-remunerated blood donation and donating for school reconstructions.
