Asian Philanthropy Group Names New Head

Give2Asia has named Dr. Ta-lin Hsu, founder and chairman of H&Q Asia Pacific, as chairman of Give2Asia's board of trustees.

Hsu replaces Bill S. Kim, a Give2Asia trustee, as chairman.

Prior to founding H&Q Asia Pacific in 1986, Hsu served for 12 years at IBM as the senior manager responsible for advanced research and development of mass storage systems and technology. He is currently a board member for several businesses, such as Marvell Technology Group, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, Starbucks Beijing, and the Ritek Corporation.

Founded by The Asia Foundation, Give2Asia promotes philanthropy in Asia.
