Metro Opens Communist Party Commission

Changzhou's Tianning District Party Commission has welcomed a new member with Metro Cash & Carry Company being approved to set up a communist party commission at its Tianning Mall outlet.

Metro Cash & Carry Tianning Mall was opened on February 8 in the Tiannin District of Changzhou. It currently has 12 party members and is affiliated to Tianning District Hongmei Street Party Commission.

Tianning District Party Commission has been actively encouraging privately run companies to open their own communist party branches. The district currently has 144 party branches.

Metro Cash & Carry has the first branch established by a foreign-funded supermarket in Changzhou city.
