Following the signing of the first batch of low temperature residual heat power generation contracts with Lafarge in 2007, Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited has now signed another low temperature residual heat power generation EP contract with the latter's Teresa cement company in the Philippines.

This is the first time that Lafarge implemented a low temperature residual heat power generation project in a cement factory out of China. As the world's largest cement manufacturer, Lafarge has decided to gradually implement low temperature residual heat power generation in all of its affiliated cement factories. On the Philippine project, it will continue to use China's technology and equipment.

Lafarge is a France-based company with more than 170 years history. As one of the global 500 Fortune companies, it takes a leading role in the world's cement, plasterboard, aggregate and concrete sectors. Lafarge entered China in 1994 and until now it has set up factories in Beijing and Shanghai with a total staff of about 16000.

Sinoma is a high-tech enterprise based in Tianjin. The company specializes in the development, utilization and industrialization of industrial residual heat and residual pressure in addition to providing CDM solutions and consulting service.
