Microsoft has reached an agreement with the Hunan provincial government to build a technological center in the central China Province, Xinhua News Agency reported.
According to the agreement, Microsoft will team up with local software developers such as Powerise to provide solutions to corporate clients. The center will also conduct research and provide services in terms of technological innovation and staff training.
Powerise became Microsoft's second mainland China-based global strategic partner in 2004. The pair has already been cooperating in training and certification, software development, sales and marketing, and various international projects.
