Zou Xiaoqiao from All-China Women's Federation ays that despite China's achievements in the gender equalities in the last twenty years, there are still great challenges. Zou hopes that CGFRA can have a specific investigation in the current situation and trends of gender in China and give the Chinese government some proposals on improving gender equality.

Set up in September 2004, the China Gender Facility for Research and Advocacy is undertaken by UNIFEM with the mission to promote women's right and gender equality in China.
