Kanglemeijiamei Supermarket in Beijing's Liangxiang area has been found selling expired Yili brand milk at a discounted price.

According to local media, a salesperson in the supermarket sold expired Yili branded milk in the front of the supermarket's gate for RMB0.5 per bag and refused to give any explanation on why the price was so low.

A representative from Yili Diary Group Beijing Branch says that they had no idea that their milk was being sold at that supermarket. He says that many sellers are selling fake Yili milk at very low prices and the headquarters of Yili Group has decided to collect this illegal milk from the concerned market and destroy all the products.
