According to relevant laws and regulations, the Xi'an Education Bureau has asked the schools to make corrections or face closure.<\/p>\n<p>The bureau has divided the schools into four decreasing levels of A, B, C, and D. Those schools that receive A and B grades are qualified.<\/p>\n<p>The C grade schools have been asked to stop recruiting students for the 2007 terms and they must correct themselves to reach a B grade by May 1, 2007. These types of schools often lack professional and practical equipment.<\/p>\n<p>All the D grade schools are considered ineligible. They must also make their corrections by May 1, 2007, when they will face another evaluation.
