Beijing Municipal Environment Protection Bureau said in a press release that with half a year passed, the task of achieving expected blue sky days has not been completed, so they face bigger pressure in the second half of this year to ensure the improvement of the capital city's air quality.<\/p>\n
Beijing's Blue Sky Plan refers to the total days that the city's air quality must reach Class 1 or Class 2 in a year. For 2007, the city expects to achieve 245 days of blue sky.<\/p>\n
