\nThe Standard reports that Cathay lawyers succeeded on Friday to have the court first hear them contest the \"prospects of success\" of such a claim as well as whether the aircraft carrier is liable for the injury.<\/p>\n

Arguments as to how much pain and financial loss was suffered as a result of the ankle injury, a far more costly exercise, should be heard only if liability is established, Cathay argued.<\/p>\n
