The first batch of migrant workers' clinics of Beijing has been unveiled in the city's Yangfangdian Hospital and Chaoyang No. 2 Hospital and will initially benefit Sichuanese.<\/p>\n

With the launch of these hospitals, migrant workers from Sichuan will be able to enjoy a preferential price when seeing a doctor in Beijing if they've participated in the new Rural Cooperation Medicine Program in their hometown.<\/p>\n

Currently there are up to two million Sichuanese migrant workers in Beijing. To protect the interests and ensure the health of this group of people, the government and health departments of Beijing and Sichuan have cooperated to launch these two designated hospitals. According to a representative from Beijing Yangfangdian Hospital, the two hospitals are available to Sichuan migrant workers who have joined the Rural Cooperation Medicine Program in their hometowns and these workers will enjoy limited compensation at the hospitals with their medical cards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
