All the proceeds will go to Beijing Olympic Park's green planting initiatives. Sixteen companies, including Omron and Hyundai Motor, donated a total of RMB1.05 million, which will be used for tree planting, road construction and maintenance of the Olympic Park.<\/p>\n<p>Sports and health are the main focuses of the company's corporate social responsibility practice. Since 1996, Omron has been sponsoring Dalian International Marathon and it has sponsored Shanghai Senior Citizen Walk event for five years since 2004.
