According to Audi China's sales department, Audi China will recall 642 imported Audi A6 cars, starting May 30.<\/p>\n
The cars were reportedly sold in China between January 2002 and December 2005. They include 335 imported Audi A6 Quattro cars and 307 imported Audi A6 Allroad cars.<\/p>\n
The reason for the recall is that a gasoline leak may be caused by the cracks at the mouth of the ventilation valve as a result of aging.<\/p>\n
Though Audi has not received any reports of accidents caused by this problem, the company has submitted a recall report to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China. Audi says the company's Audi A6 4.2-liter Quattro and A6 4.2-liter Allroad do not have these problems, so the two types of cars won't be recalled.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
