Bayer Group has signed a donation memorandum of understanding with Sichuan Technology and Business College in Shanghai, officially starting its Bayer Cares Project, which is a long-term commitment of offering comprehensive solutions to the reconstruction work of Sichuan.<\/p>\n
To ensure students in quake areas attend school on time, Bayer has decided to aid the construction of SCTBC in Dujiangyan city, which is among the worst-hit areas. The project will build 20 standard classrooms with desks, chairs, blackboards, and electric fans accommodating 50 students, 50 container houses with basic furniture, and a mobile clinic equipped with basic medical equipment and medicines.<\/p>\n
The construction area of the container houses made of polyurethane totals more than 2,000 square meters. Each container house is made with Bayer Material Science's polyurethane sheets, causing no damage to the ecological environment. Bayer says it hopes to bring more environmental concepts to the quake area and to help Dujiangyan people protect the environment.<\/p>\n

The Bayer Cares Foundation says it aims to help sustainably improve living conditions in the communities surrounding the sites of the Bayer Group and solve key social problems.
