Nokia, together with the China Youth Development Foundation, has granted Nokia College Scholarships at Huazhong Normal University to 40 students with good academic performance and poor families. <\/p>\n
Nokia joined the initiative launched by China Youth Development Foundation to help college students in October 2006, and set up the Nokia College Student Scholarship Fund to aid students of normal universities in Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, and Yunnan provinces.<\/p>\n
Fu Lei, a representative of Nokia, says that the development of education needs the joint efforts of the government and society. He added that Nokia sincerely hoped to do more for the education in China, and focus more attention on education through Nokia's efforts.<\/p>\n
Besides helping poor college students, Nokia has been active in other programs of Project Hope concerning the education and development of Chinese youth, and has set up the Nokia Environmental Ambassadors Club to conduct environmental education to hope primary schools voluntarily.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
