China's Jiangsu Province will spend more than CNY58.3 billion to treat the pollution of Taihu Lake according to a general plan initiated by National Development and Reform Commission and the relevent departments.<\/p>\n

To vet the use of the funds and evaluate the progress of the pollution control project, Jiangsu Provincial Audit Department has begun a pre-auditing investigation in Wuxi to prepare for a track audit of the project that will involve the whole process of the construction, ranging from monitoring the validity, authenticity and regulation of the construction to the financial accounting.<\/p>\n

The investment will mainly be used on ten projects covering drinking water safety, polluted water treatment and waste treatment, environmental recovery, and industrial pollution control.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
