Yuan Nansheng, China's ambassador to Zimbabwe, has delivered USD12,000 donated by Chinese diplomats and overseas Chinese in Zimbabwe to Harare's Dawn HIV\/AIDS Care Center.<\/p>\n
A representative from the center stated that the people of Zimbabwe people have major problems, especially HIV\/AIDS patients and orphans, whose live are endangered.<\/p>\n
The Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe launched an HIV\/AIDS initiative in August this year. A part of the program is to encourage Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese in Zimbabwe to donate funds to support HIV\/AIDS orphans in the Dawn HIV\/AIDS Care Center. Yuan said that the initiative is also part of the fulfillment of the spirit of Sino-Africa Beijing Summit and the social responsibilities of Chinese enterprises in foreign countries.<\/p>\n
