Beijing Red Cross has launched a special relief action called \"2006 Humanity in Beijing\" to mark this year's World Red Cross Day.<\/p>\n

As part of the action, Beijing Red Cross will raise RMB12 million earmarked for poverty-stricken areas of Beijing

\nBeijing Red Cross has promised to spend the money on medical assistance for 50,000 poor children in 18 districts and counties of Beijing.
