Beijing Municipal Department of Industry and Commerce has reported five kinds of substandard food products.<\/p>\n
It is learned that BMDIC took a total of 967 food samples and identified five of them as substandard. Four of these food products were found to have excessive levels of sulfur dioxide, a chemical which is used to make preserve food but can be harmful to health.<\/p>\n
The five problematic food products are 500 gram jars of Yi Ming Canned Nameko made by Tangshan County Zhanwang Canned Food Factory with the series number of 20081023; 500 gram packages of Beijing Candied Fruit made by Beijing Fangxingyu Preserved Fruit Food Company with the series number of 20080406; 210 gram packages of Tong Di Preserved Arbutus made by Tianjin Weiquan Lingguo Food Factory with the series number of 20080502; 250 gram packages of Jun Chao Needle Mushroom made by Chiping Junchao Canned Food Factory with the series number of 20080725; and 500ml bottled Xin Xian sauce made by Tianjin Meixian Food Company with the series number of 20080112.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
