Taiwan's Electronic Times quoted an unnamed insider as saying that the second round of staff reduction of Microsoft was formally started last week, and over 300 employees in Chinese mainland and more than 10 from Taiwan would be affected, this also includes some management personnel of the company.<\/p>\n
Zhang Yiyi, a public relations representative from Microsoft Taiwan, has confirmed that the company made personnel change last week, but denied that these were staff cuts. Zhang said that the adjustment on human resource this time was nothing to do with the seniority and performance of the individuals involved. Zhang refused to disclose the detailed number of employees to be cut in Taiwan.<\/p>\n
