A non-grain bio-energy technology research center, which is said to be the first of its kind in China, has been unveiled in Nanning, the capital city of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.<\/p>\n
It is reported that that, based on the nation's development plan on energy and food safety the center will focus on the study of non-grain crops such as tapioca, sugar cane, and sweet sorghum; carry out technology studies; encourage achievement; develop industry demonstrations and technology services; and provide advanced technology support for industry development as well as encouraging the rapid and sustainable development of China's non-grain crop industry.<\/p>\n
It is learned that by relying on the technology advantages of the Guangxi Academy of Science, and through cooperating with local universities, research institutes and affiliated companies, the center aims to be a R&D base for the non-grain biology energy industry in China.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
