The All China Federation of Trade Unions has issued a document on strengthening the work of female employees.<\/p>\n

The document requires companies whose trade union has more than ten female members to establish a female employees' commission and those with less than ten women to arrange a female employee commissioner.<\/p>\n

The document requests that all regional and industrial trade union federations below county level set up a female employee organization.<\/p>\n

The document states that a female employee organization shall be set up wherever there is a trade union or there are women employees to protect the rights of women. It also stresses that the organization of all female commissioners should be standardized.<\/p>\n

To protect the due rights and interest of women, the document asks the organizations to ensure the signing of a collective contract to focus on the rights of female employees while guiding and assisting them in signing a labor contract and enhancing the supervision of protecting their rights.<\/p>\n

The document stresses that trade unions of all levels should strengthen their leadership and list women employees' work as one of the items to judge their performance. In addition, it states that the overall quality of women employees shall be improved and their initiatives shall be brought into full play.<\/p>\n

At the end of 2008, there were 1.136 million female employee organizations at trade unions of all levels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
