{"id":629,"date":"2006-07-28T05:00:56","date_gmt":"2006-07-27T21:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/2006\/07\/28\/china-publishes-blacklist-of-102-wireless-service-providers\/"},"modified":"2006-07-28T05:00:56","modified_gmt":"2006-07-27T21:00:56","slug":"china-publishes-blacklist-of-102-wireless-service-providers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/en\/2006\/07\/28\/629-china-publishes-blacklist-of-102-wireless-service-providers\/","title":{"rendered":"China Publishes Blacklist Of 102 Wireless Service Providers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>China's Ministry of Information Industry (MII), the regulator in China's telecom sector, has published a list of 102 companies that have engaged in illegal operation of wireless value-added services.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This is the second time that MII has released the blacklist of wireless service providers since it started efforts in cleaning up the sector last year.<\/p>\n<p>Chinese software developer Kingsoft and Shanghai Sifang Information Technology have been included on the list. Others include KongZhong (KONG) and Hurray! (HRAY), who both previously warned investors of possible problems.<\/p>\n<p>MII is requiring these 102 companies to correct their poor behavior in a given period, which is not clearly specified, saying their business licenses will be revoked if they fail to do so.
