Now there are 12559 Hope primary schools set up by Project Hope in underprivileged rural areas, supporting over 2.8 million poor students.<\/p>\n<p>Hope Hospital aims to attract and make use of social donations to help hospitals in rural, poverty-stricken areas improve their equipment, medical treatment tools and train their medical staff.<\/p>\n<p>Li Gang, project director of Hope Hospital, says that the donation standard is RMB500,000, and the local governments shall provide no less than 60% of the donation fund. That is to say, each Hope Hospital will have no less that RMB800,000 for operations.
