{"id":6751,"date":"2009-12-08T03:30:46","date_gmt":"2009-12-07T19:30:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/en\/?p=6751"},"modified":"2009-12-07T18:24:28","modified_gmt":"2009-12-07T10:24:28","slug":"lenovo-publishes-second-csr-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/en\/2009\/12\/08\/6751-lenovo-publishes-second-csr-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Lenovo Publishes Second CSR Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lenovo Group has published a corporate social responsibility report, which is said to be the second the company has issued.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Compared with the first report, the new one has added such issues as responsibility focus and key performance data for 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Du Jianhua, a vice president of Lenovo, said that the company would continue to invest in the public welfare sector and improve the content of its CSR report.<\/p>\n<p>Chen Shaopeng, the senior vice president of Lenovo, stated that the company has been planning to release a CSR report since the last fiscal year and by doing so, the company wants to know how it can do better instead of merely telling people what they've done.<\/p>\n<p>The report shows that in the past year, Lenovo popularized computer knowledge to 20 million users in the rural areas in China and further improved its environmental-management system.
