{"id":6765,"date":"2009-12-11T03:30:07","date_gmt":"2009-12-10T19:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/en\/?p=6765"},"modified":"2009-12-10T14:30:55","modified_gmt":"2009-12-10T06:30:55","slug":"new-survey-76-chinese-office-workers-sub-par","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/en\/2009\/12\/11\/6765-new-survey-76-chinese-office-workers-sub-par\/","title":{"rendered":"New Survey: 76% Chinese Office Workers Sub-par"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to a recent report, 76% of the white-collar workers in China's cities are suffer from less than perfect health, with higher-wage earners suffering the most.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The survey found that up to 60% of Chines white-collar workers suffer from extreme-fatigue syndrome and, in particular those in the 35 to 50 age group, and who earned an above-average income had an apparent age of 10 years greater than their actual age and appeared to be less healthy than the norm.<\/p>\n<p>The survey report \"The Health White Book of Chinese Urban White-collar Workers\" &#8212; which was jointly published by the Chinese Medical Doctors Association, the Chinese Hospital Association, Beijing Health Insurance Association, and Ciming Checkup &#8212; shows that 80% of the white-collar workers surveyed have irregular sleeping or dining schedules and they feel fatigued during the day; 23.7% of them do not take the time to eat breakfast; over 20% of them often eat fast food; 54.4% of them lack sufficient sleep; and 32.4% of them do not get quality sleep; only 46% of them take even occasional exercise. In addition, over half of the white-collar workers often feel irritated, 20% feel lonely, and over 70% feel a lack of happiness and satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>The survey shows that people the white-collar group have been more aware of their health and 68% of them rely on checkups to help them identify potential illness.<\/p>\n<p>The survey, which lasted for six months, polled a total of 513,000 white-collar workers in 15 Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Dalian, and Wuhan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to a recent report, 76% of the white-collar workers in China's cities are suffer from less than perfect health, with higher-wage earners suffering the most.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[5886,5883,5885,818,5816,5884],"class_list":["post-6765","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-health","tag-hypocondria","tag-office-worker","tag-pressure","tag-statistic","tag-stress","tag-white-collar-worker"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.2 -
