Starting from February 10, 2010, Chrysler Group China Sales Company will recall 1,809 Wrangler automobiles in China as part of the company's global recall program.<\/p>\n

According to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China, the recall involves Wrangler vehicles made between March 3, 2006, and July 10, 2008, and the recall is due to a design defect in the gear-box that could represent a fire risk in the event of an increase in oil temperature.<\/p>\n

Reports from the manufacturer show that the defect has caused two accidents in China this year.<\/p>\n

Crysler said it would add the reminding function by upgrading the operation software for free. Consumers can call the manufacturer's service line or contact its dealers for recall details.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
