AES Corporation, the global power company, and China Investment Corporation recently said that their non-binding letter of intent for a 35% stake in AES Wind Generation expired at the end of June 2010.<\/p>\n

The agreement for the USD571-million investment from China Investment was signed on November 6, 2009.<\/p>\n

The U.S.-based power company and the Chinese investor may resume discussions in the light of clarification of the renewable energy legislation in the U.S.<\/p>\n
