Abbott Laboratories, a pharmaceuticals health care company based in the U.S, has said that the Chinese market was not affected by its voluntary recall of its Similac-brand powder infant formula.<\/p>\n
The company said that no products distributed in China by Abbott Nutrition were affected by the recent proactive and voluntary recall of some products in the USA, Puerto Rico, Guam, and some Caribbean countries.<\/p>\n
The company further explained that the products distributed in China were produced in New Zealand, Europe, and Singapore, unlike those being recalled, which were produced in the USA.<\/p>\n
