{"id":835,"date":"2006-11-07T07:12:47","date_gmt":"2006-11-06T23:12:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/2006\/11\/07\/hitachi-refuses-to-admit-trademark-violation\/"},"modified":"2006-11-07T07:12:47","modified_gmt":"2006-11-06T23:12:47","slug":"hitachi-refuses-to-admit-trademark-violation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinacsr.com\/en\/2006\/11\/07\/835-hitachi-refuses-to-admit-trademark-violation\/","title":{"rendered":"Hitachi Refuses To Admit Trademark Violation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In response to the accusation that its affiliate Hitachi Global Storage Technologies has violated the trademark of Beijing Travelstar High-tech Company by using the latter's trademark in its product tags, Hitachi says that it has not infringed the trademark of BTHC and has already removed the trademark from its products.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Hitachi says that the Travelstar trademark was used by IBM before it purchased the hard disk business from IBM and took over the brand of Travelstar, which was registered by BTHC in 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Hitachi announced that Hitachi GST has been using the Travelstar trademark since 1997, thus the registration of Beijing Travelstar High-tech Company is in bad faith.
