Beijing Wuyutai Tea Company, a traditional tea house with a history of 119 years, has launched its \"100% Green Program\" in its flagship store located in Wangfujing, Beijing. <\/p>\n
Representatives from 140 Wuyutai franchised tea shops have jointly signed a green covenant which promises to guarantee the quality of tea at Wuyutai.<\/p>\n
Sun Danwei, general manager of Wuyutai, says that the company focuses on the quality of its tea during all processes and it inspects the quality according to their own standard, which is higher than the national Chinese standards. She says that they will also invite ouside observers to supervise and help them to fulfill the covenant. <\/p>\n
Local media reports that Wuyutai's commitment has been highly praised by customers because it shows that Wuyutai attaches great importance to the social responsibility it has in ensuring the quality of its products.<\/p>\n
