China Possible OECD Candidate?

China should be admitted to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development one day because of its increasing impact on the world economy, the head of the 30-country free-market organisation says.

Reuters reports the OECD last week welcomed Beijing's adjustment of its currency system, moving away from a peg to the dollar only and slightly revaluing the yuan, as another step towards China's integration into the world economy.
