IETF Arranges Multilingual Email Task Force

The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) has arranged an online discussion with the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) to review issues related to IMA (Internationalized eMail Address).
The IMA group will investigate the use of multilingual email addresses and forge new standards.
CNNIC originally submitted a draft report regarding IMA to IETF in cooperation with JPRS, KRNIC, TWNIC at the end of June 2005. The discussions will be ongoing and all interested individuals can visit IETF's website to get into the discussion.
