The page is found at http://gongyi.baidu.com and consists of real-time Internet news, aggregated forum posts, and direct links to public welfare organizations operating in China. The area also contains desktop wallpaper downloads and links to free music downloads.
Liang Dong, Baidu's VP, says that Baidu is an enterprise committed to public social welfare projects and the company is hoping to build the world's largest online resource of information about charities and non-governmental organizations operating on the Mainland.
