eBay Eachnet Accused Of Selling Chinese Porn

Local media report that online auction site eBay Eachnet had been allowing sales of pornographic video disks through its website.

ebay Eachnet says that it has already removed the concerned goods from its website.

A Hubei seller nicknamed as dongd007 was selling more than 100 kinds of video products on eBay Eachnet. Though the disks had pornographic titles, the seller said that he was not dealing in any illegal business and he always delivered goods to the buyers after receiving their payment.

Liu Yan, a spokesperson from eBay Eachnet, says the online auction company already warned dongd007 not to sell illegal goods in the future. Liu says that apart from adopting technical means to filter illegal goods and information, eBay Eachnet also assigns special personnel to monitor the online transactions to ensure a safe and healthy online trading atmosphere for the Chinese consumers.
