2800 Hours: China Awards Young Volunteers

37 volunteers in China have been awarded special medals for the contribution they have made to China's public service.

Set up by the China Central Youth League and Chinese Young Volunteers Association, this award honors young volunteers who have been outstanding in volunteer service and have served over 2800 hours in their respective volunteer work.

The volunteers who won the award have been working in different fields including rural area education, protection of the environment and legal aid.
