Medicsight introduced guidelines for Chest CT and CTC to top international radiology and oncology experts from China, with His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, patron of the Medicsight Foundation, in attendance.
"The economic miracle taking place in China is helping to significantly raise healthcare standards for many of China's citizens. I see tremendous opportunity for British companies participating with China to improve the country's economy and healthcare offerings. The transfer of leading-edge technology, such as Medicsight's CAD products, play an important role in this effort. These guidelines represent a milestone for healthcare in China," said His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent GCVO.
The guidelines received endorsements from Chinese luminaries in the radiology and oncology fields, including Professor Ma Daqing, Chief Radiologist, Beijing Friendship Hospital and President of the Chinese Radiology Society; Professor Zhou Chunwu, Vice President of the Cancer Institute and Director of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College; Professor Chen Qihang, Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology, Beijing Hospital, Peking University Health Sciences; and professor Zhou Cheng, Vice President of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
