Qinghai-Tibet Railway Travel Agencies Lose Licenses

News from Xining Railway Public Security Department is that that Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company has revoked the ticket booking qualifications of four travel agencies in Qinghai Province.
The four travel agencies are Qinghai Chunqiu Travel Agency, Qinghai Haitian Travel Service, Qinghai Aoyuan Travel Agency and Qinghai Tour Company. They have lost their qualification for being involved in illegal ticket sales.
On July 18 and 21, police caught three people, who were later found to be employees of the travel agencies, selling Xining-Lhasa tickets at a price that is RMB800-990 higher than the normal price.
These three people have been detained by the Railway Police and are awaiting trial.
