Migrant Workers Provided Medical Insurance In Shenzhen

The Shenzhen Labor and Social Security Bureau has disclosed that more than two million migrant workers in Shenzhen have joined the medical insurance system by July.
The Bureau estimates that the number will reach three million by the end of this year.
Shenzhen began providing temporary medical insurance to migrants in June 2006. Since May, the number of designated medical service organizations for migrant workers has reached 502 in the Shenzhen area.
