The Guangdong Quality and Technology Supervision has destroyed several kinds of counterfeit and fake products, including food and clothing.
The milk powder for infants produced by Guangzhou Jinding Dairy Products Factory is on the list with about 100 crates of it already having been destroyed.
In December last year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine found that Jinding Milk Powder contained unqualified protein and excessive preservatives. The destroyed milk powder will be used as feed for animals.
