The hotel management and staff of Crowne Plaza Nanjing Hotel & Suites recently visited the Nanjing Public Welfare Association to offer their New Year wishes for all the children at the home.

During the visit, the hotel provided cakes and 400 packs of cookies, which were prepared by the hotel pastry team for the children.

The hotel staff then toured the facilities to see where the children, who range from infants to teenagrers, live and learn.

The visit follows another community outreach activity from the hotel conducted in December 2006, where the hotel staff donated over two hundred winter overcoats, woolen sweaters and scarves to the Bai Xia District Charity Federation for the Long Wang Miao community.

Hotel General Manager David Lim expressed his willingness to continue sharing social obligations as a member of the hospitality industry in the city and he also said that the hotel would build a long-term relationship with local charity organizations in order to support more people in different areas.

Supporting community work and assisting people that need help is also part of InterContinental's core value of "Show We Care".
