The Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Labor and Social Security has launched a special telephone hotline to serve unemployed families in the Guangzhou area.
By calling the hotline 12333, members of unemployed families can apply for employment aid. So long as they are not picky about their job positions, they will be guaranteed a job within one month.
Getting a job through the hotline is reportedly very efficient. Staff at 12333 will first process an application for employment aid after receiving the call of the unemployed person. Then they fax the application form to regional employment service centers and those centers will visit the applicant and make employment aid plans for them. This whole process is expected to take no more than ten days.
