This position is based in Laboratory of Fishery Environments and Aquatic Products Processing and is for a Researcher of Chemistry of Marine & Environment.
Requirements:
Having Ph.D degree, specializing in marine chemistry, biological chemistry, ecological toxicology, knowing operation of instruments with gas and liquid chromatography.
East China Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, invites applications for the position of Research Fellow, specializing in marine fisheries research. More than 30 marine fisheries researchers are required.
Candidates should be enthusiastic about researching and have strong scientific and academic expertise in (1) Environmental science & Environmental engineering; Chemistry of marine & environment ; (2) Fishery process and Store engineering; Fish food biological chemistry or food applied chemistry; (3) Marine remote sensing ; Geography information system; Physical oceanography ; SQL server, Oracle database application ; (4) Reproductive physiology ; Physiology and Ecology ; Microbiology and diseases in aquatic animal; (5) Marine fisheries and engineering ; Fish behavior ; Fluid tensile ; High molecular material ; (6) Marine nature product ; (7) Fishery Resources ; Marine Biology ; Marine Ecology ; Applied mathematics or Statistics.
Qualified applicants must possess a Ph.D degree and be proficient in English, candidates with M.S. degrees and 3-5 years of professional experience will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated professional experience. In addition, strong communications skills and research experience combining both basic and applied perspectives is desirable. Teamwork spirit is required for each candidate. While this is a term appointment (2-3 years), a candidate meeting the productivity metrics and team ethics of the Center may be considered for position as either an Assistant or Associate Scientist.
