Sunnylife Global has begun construction of the surgical building at the Xiang Tan World Friendship Hospital in Hunan Province of China.

"After the completion of surgical building, we will provide better medical services to patients not only in China but also from overseas since the medical environment in Xiang Tan World Friendship Hospital is the same as the environment in the United Stated. In our ward area, we will provide both hot and cold water system and odorless rest room; in addition, the communication and medical equipments are advanced to enhance our services same as U.S. medical standards," said Gu Lian Cun , the chief administrator of Xiang Tan World Friendship Hospital.

After one year of designing and preparing, construction of the surgical building of Xiang Tan World Friendship Hospital started on April 25, 2007 and is estimated to be completed in five months, by end of September 2007. The completion of the surgical building will increase the capacity from 250 beds to 400 beds, which are used for the patients after surgery. The construction principles of the surgical building are based on both the U.S. hospital standards and national standards of China, such as AC system, draining system, and passageways. Operation rooms and wards are designed based on the U.S. medical standards; four operation rooms can provide medical services at one time.

The new standards of surgical building construction strengthen the hospital services especially in general surgery, cranial neurosurgery and OB/GYN surgery; it is going to provide a standard medical platform to increase staff's efficiency.

The new surgical building is expected to return between RMB40 million and RMB60 million dollars annually of revenue to the hospital.

Pursuant to the terms of the joint-venture, profits from the revenue of the hospital will be distributed 70% to Sunnylife and 30% to the government. The contract provides for Sunnylife to retrofit the Xiang Tan World Friendship Hospital and to offer its proprietary Health Management System to employees of the government. That program is expected to launch before the end of 2007. There are currently 25,000 members enrolled who will become the first to benefit from Sunnylife's Health Management System.
