Environmental Service Companies Set Up CESIA

Approved by the All-China Federation Of Industry and Commerce, 80 environmental companies have initiated and established the China Environmental Service Industry Association, a non-profit membership organization under the leadership of ACFIC for environmental service industry and related industries.
The 80 environmental companies include Sound Group, Beijing Capital and Veolia Water.
The tenet of the Association is reportedly to develop the CESIA through membership, provide services, guide members to develop in a healthy manner, assist the government's supervision of the sector, maintain industry order, regulate market competition, protect the industry's rights, and promote the common development of each member.
China's environmental companies are mainly engaged in environmental facilities investment, operations, environmental project construction, environmental technology services, environmental consulting services, environmental research and development, environmental supervision and information, and environmental trade.
