Largest Domestic Active Carbon Project Begins In Ningxia

According to the development plan of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the first schedule of active carbon project of Ningxia Coal Capital Construction Corporation has been commenced at Shizhuishan in Ningxia.
The project is expected to bring an annual capacity of 250,000 tons of active carbon, upon completion. After the project is completed, it will be the largest active carbon production and research base in the world and will be of great significance to the promotion of the local economy.
Zhang Wenjiang, president of Ningxia Coal Capital Construction Corporation, has told local media that active carbon has a broad market potential. He said China is the largest producing and exporting country for active carbon while Ningxia has good conditions for developing active carbon.
Therefore, the local government has attached great importance to material production and hopes to make Ningxia Coal Capital Construction Corporation one of the largest and strongest environmentally-friendly enterprises in China with the most advanced technology and focused on high-end active carbon use.
