Hainan Cancels Ten Travel Agency Licenses

In accordance with the China National Tourism Administration's Travel Agency Management Rule, the Hainan Provincial Tourism Bureau has canceled licenses for ten travel agencies that failed recent annual inspections.
HPTB has dissolved the International Travel Agency Business License of Hainan Pacific International Travel Agency, Hainan Mingzhu International Travel Agency and Hainan Jingrun International Travel Agency and terminated their respective travel agency services. It has also cancelled the International Travel Agency Business License of Hainan Aviation International Travel Service, terminated their inbound travel service qualification and changed them into a domestic travel agency.
HPTB has also cancelled the Domestic Travel Agency Service of six travel agencies: Hainan Post Travel Agency, Hainan Hai Zhi Yun Business Travel Agency, Haikou Railway Travel Agency, Haikou Xinghuayuan Travel Agency, Hainan Southern Aviation and Holiday Travel Agency and Hainan Overseas Travel Agency and terminated their respective services.
Local media reports have not provided specific information why each of the travel companies lost their respective licenses.
